Biography

Jeremy Bock’s teaching and research interests relate to intellectual property, technology law, and regulation.

Professor Bock’s scholarship focuses on the patent system, which he evaluates through the lens of behavioral economics, cognitive psychology, and management science. His article, “Behavioral Claim Construction,” published in the Minnesota Law Review, was selected for presentation at the 2017 Stanford/Harvard/Yale Junior Faculty Forum.

Before joining Tulane Law in 2018, Professor Bock was a faculty member at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. He has also worked as a registered patent attorney, patent litigator, and in-house counsel. He clerked for Judge Alan D. Lourie at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
